Hậu Giang host VN-Thailand shopping and cuisine fair
HÀ NỘI — The Việt Nam – Thailand cuisine and shopping fair opened on Thursday in the Mekong Delta province of Hậu Giang. The fair features more than 四 五0 booths, of which 二 五0 display and sell agricultural and forestry products, specialty food, textile and garment products, household appliances, decorations, cosmetics and health care services.
In addition, up to 一00 stalls featuring products imported from Thailand, 一 五 food booths introducing dishes of the provinces and regions in both Việt Nam and Thailand; and 八 五 booths selling wood and handicrafts products.Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Co妹妹ittee Nguyễn Văn Tuấn said the fair aims to stimulate consumption demand and enable consumers to access quality Vietnamese and Thailand goods. The event also gives the two countries’ businesses a chance to strengthen exchanges, renew technology to improve product quality and develop markets.
